La Maison des Vins de Bourg, situated on the threshold of the old town facing the estuary, has a dual role: to welcome the general public and to serve as a veritable centre for the range of activities undertaken by the producers (SVCB) of this famous appellation. Novices and wine-lovers alike can make new finds in the convivial and creative atmosphere of this 19th century building, perfect for initiations to wine tasting, meetings for producers, exhibitions, lectures and receptions. Producers use the vaulted cellar of the shop to present their range of wines and their estates; over 150 wines are listed. Wine-lovers, who are often art-lovers too, will appreciate the pictures and works of art in display. Opening hours: 15 June to 15 September: daily from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00 16 September to Easter: daily except Sunday from 09:30 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 18:00 Easter to 15 June: daily from 09:30 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 18:00 We organise special events for groups such as initiations to wine-tasting and discovery days.
